The graduating master students of 2017. My Lindersson is in the front row, the second from the left.

Sparbanksstiftelsen handed out a scholarship of 25 000 sek during the Graduation Ceremony 2017, which this year was awarded to My Lindersson.

My Lindersson wrote the thesis: Applying a lens of practice theory to understand the role of sustainability-labels in sustainable fashion shopping.

The motivation for the award:

The thesis of My Lindersson examines how consumer-labeled clothing products are used and perceived by consumers, and how such labeling can affect consumers to engage in sustainable consumption. It shows that sustainability labeling must be designed so that the consumer can relate to the benefits of the selection that the sustained-labeled product may imply. The thesis also provides an important theoretical and methodological contribution by increasing the knowledge about how the relationship between sustainability and consumption can be explored based on a practical theoretical service perspective.
