Meet our new doctoral students

Doctoral students

We have three new doctoral students at the department, welcome!

Tell us a bit about what will be your area of focus:

Réka Ines Tölg: I am looking into sustainability related challenges of the fashion industry and more specifically large fashion retailers.

Annabell Merkel: I am part of the interdisciplinary project “Marine food resources for new markets” and in my research I will focus on the consumer perspective on innovative, sustainable food.

Marthe Nehl: I focus on culture and creativity. Building upon the existing transdisciplinary research addressing culture, creativity and sustainability, I take a look at the apparent trend of musealization in the city of Malmö, Sweden. I am further interested in the conditions for processes of self-organisation and alternative cultural spaces in the wider Öresund Region.
